This Is Wrestling
Pro-wrestling management game · early prototype

Run the promotion.
Live with the locker room.

This Is Wrestling puts you in charge of a wrestling company: book the weekly show, build rivalries that pay off months later, keep egos in check backstage, and watch every match you book play out in 3D.

We are at the very beginning. Everything shown here is an early prototype: the systems underneath are real and running, the art and animation are placeholders that will be replaced.

A world that writes its own stories

The promotion keeps living between your decisions. Rivalries are born from what happens on the shows, stories branch on your choices, and the people behind the characters have their own opinions.

One screen, one week

The whole weekly loop on a single page: what needs you, tonight's card, the result and where every rivalry stands. Depth is there when you want it, never in the way.

Rivalries that emerge

Feuds start from real moments — an upset, a betrayal, a title shot — run their course, end, and can be rekindled years later. Ten simulated years produce around a hundred of them.

33 story shapes

Story structures distilled from three decades of wrestling television, chained so one story's aftermath seeds the next. The first repeat of a story shape arrives after more than five in-game years.

Backstage reality

Real tension behind the scenes: two wrestlers who genuinely dislike each other, a star who refuses to lose, a locker room that takes sides. Some of it ends up on the show.

Matches that breathe

A continuous match engine where style and fatigue set the pace: a big man works slowly, a cruiserweight flies, weekly TV holds back what the big events deliver.

Your roster, your characters

Over a hundred fictional wrestlers built in our own character system, each with a move set, a ring psychology and a place in the hierarchy.

Every match, in 3D · prototype

The match engine decides what happens and when; a first 3D player stages it with motion-captured animation on the roster's own characters — over a hundred and fifty strikes, reactions, falls and throws so far, picked to fit each wrestler and each moment. The ring, characters and animation are early placeholders, not the final look.

Built with Claude

This Is Wrestling is built by a solo founder working with Claude Code as the engineering team: the simulation, the match and story engines, the tools that turn three decades of wrestling history into game data, the interface and the 3D animation pipeline. Claude also reviews matches against the founder's notes and turns them into fixes and tests.
